Here are a few tips to help you get started with Oxitaxi:
- While registering, please click on Registrationand select login type as User than enter the First Name, Last Name, Email Id, Mobile No. & password and click on submit button. You will receive an OTP on your phone to verify your mobile number.

Once you've filled in all the details, tap REGISTER.
Note - If the mobile number entered is correct and you haven’t received the SMS with OTP details, you can request for OTP again by clicking on Resend OTP or Get OTP over a call.
Please note that there is a limit on the number of accounts that can be created on one mobile device.
You will be able to log in to your Oxitaxi account with password only if you have already setup password for your Oxitaxi account.

To log in with password, all you need to do is: -
- Enter your mobile number registered with Oxitaxi.
- Select Log in with password option available on the screen
- Enter the password for your Oxitaxi account and select Log in.

In case you have forgotten the password for your Oxitaxi account, please click on Forgot Password? link available on the screen to reset your password.
Note - Forgot Password? link will be available for you only if you have verified your registered email ID.
You can also log in to your Oxitaxi account with social media as wall.
To log in with social media, all you need to do is: -
- select login type as User.
- Click on Facebook or Google button
- Enter the password for your respective social media account and select Log in.
We provide the option for client to check economical cabs rates for same vehicle in same city at the same time.All our cabs are well maintained, driven by experienced and polite to make your travel pleasant.
Using your rider account, you may request one vehicle at a time. You can request another vehicle immediately after a current trip ends.
If you want to ride in a group too large for a single vehicle, please ask others in your group to use their Oxitaxi accounts to request additional vehicles.
Cancellation charges as given below
• If you cancel it before 48hrs of your booking we will refund the paid amount after deducting RS 500.
• If you cancel it before 24hrs of your booking we will refund the paid amount after deducting 25% of booking amount.
• If you cancel it before 12hrs of your booking we will refund the paid amount after deducting 50% of booking amount.
• If you cancel it less then 12hrs of your booking time no amount will be refunded.
Before a trip starts, your app provides an ETA for when your driver should arrive at your pickup location.
After your trip starts, your app provides an ETA for when you should arrive at your destination.
Please note that ETA times are estimates and not guaranteed. A variety of external factors like heavy traffic or road construction can impact travel time.
After a trip starts, your app will continually update the ETA for your destination.
At the end of the ride, you can check your total ride bill on driver’s app screen. You will also be informed about the bill amount through a push notification.
You can Pick a payment option before you confirm a booking from Cash, Credit/Debit card to pay for your Oxitaxi ride.
Cash- When opting for paying with cash for your Oxitaxi ride, we request you to check that you are carrying enough cash/ change to settle your bill. To save yourself from the hassle of tendering exact change, we recommend riding cashless to pay by Card.
Credit/Debit Card- If you have opted to pay by Card, you will need to settle the bill for your ride from your Oxitaxi app after the ride. On opening the Oxitaxi app, you will be prompted to make the payment for your last ride. You can pay for your ride by using your selected card.
Note- You will need to add the card to your Oxitaxi account before you confirm a booking to make the payment for your Oxitaxi ride with card.
To ensure that all your Oxitaxi rides are convenient, safe and comfortable, we have a rating system in place for each ride that you take. You can rate a ride between 1 to 5 stars and share your feedback every time you complete a trip.
Your ratings should reflect the quality of service provided by that particular driver. Therefore, a few pointers to consider while rating a ride could be Behavior and Driving Skills of the driver, Quality of Service, and Car Cleanliness.
When a driver consistently receives a low rating, we undertake appropriate measures such as offroading him for a certain duration, engaging him in training programs, and deactivating his account with Oxitaxi.
We recommend entering your exact pickup and drop location to make your travel hassle-free.
You can always check on your Oxitaxi app if the drop location is within the city limits.
All you need to do is -
- Enter your drop location.
- Select your desired location from the suggested locations.
- Check the message displayed on your Oxitaxi App screen.
If the drop location is outside the city limits, you will see the message on the screen stating, ‘Invalid drop location’.
For your travel requirements outside the city, book an Oxitaxi outstation by selecting the Outstation category icon on your Oxitaxi app.
You can check the total fare for your ride on Oxitaxi app by entering the drop location. On entering the drop location, you will be able to view the estimated fare for every cab category.
The total fare for your Oxitaxi ride is calculated by adding the following: - - Base Fare - A flat fare charged up to a particular distance or for the first few kms.
- Distance Fare - The fare charged on per km traveled. Depending on the city, the Rate/Km may vary after a threshold distance or an extra charge may be applicable after a particular distance.
- Ride Time Fare - The fare charged on the total time duration of the trip from pickup time to drop time. This also includes driver waiting time before the trip starts, wait time in traffic or at traffic signals during the ride.
- Advance Booking Fee (if applicable)- Advance booking fee is a flat amount charged on all Ride Later bookings. The fee will be added to your ride bill on completion of the trip.
- Airport Charges (if applicable)- A surcharge fee may be charged for airport pickup and drop (depending on the city.)
- Toll and Parking Fee (if applicable)
- Taxes (as per the state taxation rules)
Note - Base Fare, Distance Fare, and Ride Time Fare may vary depending on the demand for cabs during that time and the cab category selected. You will always be informed before you confirm the booking of any fare increase (if applicable).
You can always check the invoice sent to your registered email id for understanding the fare breakup of your ride.
You will need to add a credit/debit card to your Oxitaxi account to pay for your Oxitaxi ride with the card.
Please follow the steps given below to add a credit/debit card to your Oxitaxi account.
- Select Payments from Oxitaxi app menu.
- Click on Add a Credit/ Debit card.
- Enter your card details and click Save Card.
Once you have successfully added your card, all you need to do is to select the card from the 'Pick a Payment' option before confirming a booking.
Note - You can always add more than one card to your Oxitaxi account.
When you opt to pay by card, you can settle the bill at your convenience before your next Oxitaxi ride from your Oxitaxi app using your saved card.
You can opt to pay by Cash for your Oxitaxi ride. All you need to do is to select your payment option as Cash from the 'Pick a Payment' option before confirming a booking.
You can always check the approximate fare for your ride by entering your drop location and using the Get Total Fare option available on the booking confirmation screen to ensure that you have enough cash/exact change for your ride.
You can also choose to ride cashless and save yourself from the hassle of tendering exact change by opting to pay with Oxitaxi Money or Credit/Debit Card.
You can check the estimated total fare for your ride before confirming a booking.
All you need to do is: -
- Enter the drop location on the booking screen of your Oxitaxi app
- Choose the cab category to view the estimated Total Fare for your ride.
Note - The estimated total fare for your ride may vary due to traffic conditions or any variation in distance travelled.
We try to allocate a cab on priority (depending on cab availability around your pickup location) to ensure that you get a cab at your scheduled time.
If in case, we are unable to find a cab near your location and there is a delay in cab allotment, we request you to try booking a cab in other cab categories available on your Oxitaxi app.
The luggage and seating capacity depends on the cab category selected by you: -
Economy
Economy category can seat upto 4 passengers and can accommodate up to 2-3 small size bags.
Executive
Executive category can seat upto 4 passengers and can accommodate up to 3-4 medium size bags or 2 large bags.
Prime
Prime Category can seat upto 6 passengers and can accommodate up to 3-4 medium size bags or 2 large bags.
Oxitaxi is all set to be a part of your journeys outside city too! You can now book an Oxitaxi for your outstation travel through Oxitaxi website by selecting the Outstation category icon on Oxitaxi website.
You can book an Oxitaxi Outstation from 1 hour to up to 30 days in advance for both one way and round trip.
Depending on your travel date/ time, you can book an Outstation ride from within 1 hour to up to 30 days in advance. The driver details for your ride will be sent 45 minutes prior to your pickup time.
You can check the total estimated cost for your outstation trip on your Oxitaxi before you confirm a booking.
The total estimated cost together with Fare Breakup (Base Fare, Driver Allowance, Additional Km and Ride Time Fare, and Taxes) and any extra charges (if applicable) will be indicated on the website.
Note - State taxes, Permits, Tolls or Parking Fee (if applicable) are not included in your bill. You will be required to pay for the same during the trip.
You can pay for your Oxitaxi Outstation ride with oxitaxi available payment option with in the website such as Debit Cards/Credit Cards/Net banking/Paytm or in Cash.
Yes, you can keep the cab for additional hours. Per minute additional charges will apply on exceeding the estimated number of hours (base hours) for the destination.
No, you don’t need to pay any extra driver charges to driver during your outstation trip. The Driver Allowance is included in your outstation trip fare and the same will be charged to you at the end of the trip.
The total estimated cost for your Outstation trip indicates the fare for kilometers travelled, duration of the ride, driver allowance, and taxes (as applicable).
In case you exceed the number of kilometers travelled or there is a change in trip duration, you will be charged additional km fare/ ride time fare as applicable.
Note- State taxes, Permits, Tolls or Parking Fee (if applicable) are not included in your bill. You will need to pay for the same during the trip.
Toll fee/charges (if applicable) are additional and need to be paid in cash during the trip.
Toll charges for a one-way trip
When you book a one-way outstation trip, you will need to pay the toll charges (as applicable) on your one-way trip. However, if a one-way trip is converted to a round trip or the trip duration exceeds 24 hours, you will be liable to pay the toll charges (as applicable) on a round trip.
Toll charges for a round trip
As toll charges are not included in your ride fare, you will need to pay for these charges (as applicable) during the trip.
States generally levy additional taxes and permit charges that need to be paid depending on the permit type of the car. These charges may differ from state to state. As these charges are not included in your fare, you will need to pay for the same during the trip.

The fare for your Oxitaxi rental ride will be as per the rental package selected by you. Your rental package is a fixed fare package until you exceed the number of hours or the number of kms you hired the cab for.
You can check the fare for your Rental ride on your Oxitaxi website before confirming a booking.
Note - The fare for your rental package may vary depending on the choice of car and city of booking.
You can pay for your Oxitaxi rental ride in Cash and Debits/Credit Cards/Net Banking and Paytm.
Your rental package is a fixed fare package until you exceed the number of hours or the number of kilometers you hired the cab for. Therefore, no additional fares and charges such as extra driver charges or night charges are applicable on your rental ride.
However, if you exceed the number of kms or hours, every additional kilometer fare and additional hour fare is charged. This fare is also indicated on your Oxitaxi app before you confirm a booking.
Note - Toll charges (if applicable) will be paid by the driver on your behalf during the trip. The toll charges paid will automatically be added to your total bill at the end of the trip. Parking charges (if applicable) will need to be paid by you during the trip.
